Biography: Angela received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Purchase New York and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Heidelberg University in Germany. She came to Rutgers in 2011. Angela has been involved in research projects on public perceptions of food, health, and the environment; emergency preparedness among homebound seniors; and risk communication during food recalls. Recent research has looked at the safety of fresh meat, poultry, game, and seafood products purchased on the Internet.

In her current role as the statewide Policy, Systems, and Environmental Change Coordinator for NJ SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program - Education) she oversees the implementation of public health programs throughout the state for low-income populations.

Angela is an avid equestrian and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and two dogs.
